A small oasis in the midst of the carnival city - that is the hanse stube. hidden in the venerable hotel excelsior seriously, it offers outstanding classic cuisine in cozy ambiente. one of the few restaurants in which you can really entertain yourself uninterruptedly. the charming and very discreet service has a hand for the different guests, jokes stylishly if desired, but also retreats very much when you are deepened in your own conversations. And thus frames competently the delicious cuisine that specializes in classics in partly modern interpretation. the greeting from the kitchen - ochsenbäckchen on potato foam - was an absolute dense. also the lukewarm and crispy bread selection with different dips. kalbfilet with morcheln was buttersoft, only the herzoginkartoffeln could have been crispy and fresher. to complete homemade patisserie - what does the heart want more? we are happy to come back once we are looking for culinary recreation in the middle of the big city.
We were 2 people for lunch. pulpocarpaccio, three small thin slices, plus a unique mix with tomate, olive, saffron. for 19 € easy too expensive. taste and dress very good. tagliatelle with pfifferling at > 20€, also good, but gives mbeim italiener ums eck just as good.Weincommand was good and consistent.Ruhiges ambiente, also for business dinner.Nextly I would not come.
Service super, eat at the point. 100%, will come again and again! Waiting time about 25 min, drinks after 5 minutes there. teller warm. meat delicate, as it must be.
An unforgettable lunch at Hanse Stube From the moment we stepped into Hanse Stube, we knew this lunch was going to be something truly special. A huge thank you to Malin and the entire service team – so attentive, warm, and clearly enjoying their work! You made us feel completely welcome. To start, we enjoyed a delicate amuse-bouche of heirloom carrots, yuzu caviar, and smoked trout – a little something extra that immediately whetted our appetites. The appetizer, roasted leeks with potato and preserved lemon, was simply divine. For the main course, we had filet mignon, truffle pasta, and braised veal cheeks – pure indulgence, perfectly balanced. ... For a sweet finale, we were treated to enchanting crème brûlée and homemade chocolates As a special highlight, there was also a lovingly decorated birthday cake, which made the lunch a truly personal experience. A huge compliment to the kitchen crew – and thank you to the entire team for so much passion, warmth, and attention to detail. A lunch full of enjoyment, warmth, and wonderful memories – we'll definitely be back!
We dined there for my wife's birthday. It was a truly wonderful experience. The staff, in particular, were fantastic – attentive and friendly. When we got into conversation with the next table between courses, they waited patiently with the next course until we were ready to resume. Hats off to them, and thank you so much! We felt completely at ease. They are truly wonderful hosts.
