It has a more local vibe than the central bars yet the bar ladies remain friendly and we enjoyed some banter despite the language barrier - probably at my expense. It's cheaper than the bars on the other side of the river and I recommend the currywurst as a hearty (not healthy) and affordable lunch.

Filet top gebraten, Hähnchen gut gebraten, Dressing selber gemacht, Championsauce nicht ganz so toll. Rinderfilet auf der Karte aus meiner Sicht völlig überteuert..gerade weil um die Ecke ein Steakhouse ist.Fazit....Kneipe in einem Viertel mit Essen ... okay

Put on top of that that the prices at fai... read more This was the best of the 3 restaurant I visited in Köln. The service here is VERY friendly no arrogance or snootyness. Put on top of that that the prices at fair and the food is quite good, bordering on perfect. All in all there is no reason not to go here. BUT seating is limited so reservation is strongly recommended. Check out their website.

I didn´t feel any arrogance from the staff, although a don´t speak german a word. I was very happy about that. After having a tasty beer, we decided to eat something as well and we were really satisfied with everything on the plate. Yummy!
