It is just outside the city center, so a b... read more We had a very nice experience at Dostoevsky. Chose the place based on other TripAdvisor reviews and very glad we did. It is just outside the city center, so a bit off the usual tourist path but an easy taxi ride. Small, intimate setting. The only person we saw was the proprietor, who was serving as host, bartender and waiter. He was friendly and very helpful with the menu. (We managed just fine with our collective limited English and German.) The food was outstanding, and quite reasonably priced -- I am not surprised to see the positive reviews from native Russians on this site. Would gladly recommend and definitely go back if we find ourselves in Cologne again.

English menu so easy to choose food was cooked to perfection and very very tasty well seasoned and presented Nicely absolutely no complaints can recommend this restaurant. Service was good beer arrived in a timely manor food took a little longer but we could see in the kitchen everything freshly made for us. And at the end of the night I was pleasantly surprised how cheap the bill was. Will we come again yes for sure if we happen to be here sometime
