I have a feeling the owner of this hotel took a trip to southeast asia and imported dozens of 40 containers of decors to excessorize the hotel. i found a life s... read more I have a feeling the owner of this hotel took a trip to southeast asia and imported dozens of 40 containers of decors to excessorize the hotel. i found a life size wooden elephant on my floor... rooms are clean but the bed was a bit on the flimsy side. blankets and pillows were lacking volume and comfort. complete breakfast buffet available with room stay. internet is available in room for a cost, but there are 2 unkempt public computers with internet available in the lobby for free use. not a fan of the decor but overall a clean hotel with great location, walking distance to the cologne cathedral and station. my accommodation was paid for by my company but for a regular single room stay will cost you around 140 € to 280 €/night.

The bar is very nice, unfortunately after the conversion and removal of the podium no longer quite as beautiful as before. Here you will meet the more open prominence. The bartenders are well trained and friendly. Kindness at the reception very different and depending on the people.

Each floor has its own style, African, oriental, Asian. That's kind of Themanhotel. Our room was on the Asian floor. It was decorated with a thick fluffy carpet, dark furniture, partly from bamboo and on the wall above the bed hanging a huge wood carving. The curtains were made of heavy dark red velvet. In contrast to the very stylish asaitic bedroom, the bathroom shined through European modernity in granite, white and light yellow. The spa and wellness area invites you to relax and relax. You're completely gassed that you were actually in a hectic city. The whirlpool, the Turkish steam bath, the saunas and the aroma bath were simply wonderfully relaxing. The staff at the spa, as well as at the hotel, were consistently friendly and helpful, open to small entertainments that never felt the impersonal hotel. The ladies were particularly committed to finding a special restaurant at the reception. The breakfast was rich and good, but not distinguished by special features. This hotel allows you to make a visit to Cologne to the ridge hike between living experience and pure relaxation. The only deductions I have to make at the cocktail bar, because first, it's very expensive and the bartender had a lot of it, I explained how to make my cocktail. Otherwise I can only recommend the hotel.
