China Restaurant Qing Dao - Köln

So me and my friends went to get some food late night. We sat down and ordered are rice. When we put the soy sauce in our foods we found there to be dead bugs and flys in the sauce. Completely ruined my appetite. They gave us meal on the house however and we just paid for the drinks. I do not recommend coming hear.

On visiting Cologne we decided to just get on a tram, cross the river and find a nearby restaurant. This was so close to the tram station and we enjoy Chinese so decided to visit. The portions were huge! Unfortunately we didn’t know this before ordering, so ordered the usual number of dishes that we do back in England. This was a mistake as the portions were double the size of any we’d had in the Uk. The food was also delicious and cheap so it was win win really. This is probably the best Chinese restaurant we’ve ever eaten in and I’d recommend it to anyone.

The restaurant was quiet and the menus did not have a English translation which made it difficult to order, but after a bit of googling and conversation with the waitress we managed to order. The food portions are massive which makes it great value. The food was tasty and would recommend the duck wraps, chilli chicken dish and also the noodles.

Suprisingly authentic asian food!! we'll definitely come back. try the green ice tea- it's freakin amazing
