CATO - Köln

We never miss a visit to Cato the food is the best Italian no matter what you eat and they serve Lillet cocktails as well try the Hugo delicious!

Come to Cologne once in a while for business and tend to arrive late Monday evening this time 10:30 CET so was very pleased to find Cato (formally 4 Cani) still open. Was very surprised and pleased to be recognised despite not being in for 10 weeks! Even told me what I wanted!! Getting predictable but the Tagliatelle with Salmon and King prawns is delicious.... I was surprised to see the mixed reviews on this restaurant but have never had an issue always great food with great service. Very close to 5 star for me....

Food was good, staff was really friendly and helpful. Price was really decent too. But seeing mice running around did put a bit of a staple on the experience.

Ich finde es unmöglich dass man sich gezwungen fühlt bzw. ist fuer die Toilette zu zahlen als Gast der über 40€ dagelassen hat.

Wir hatten hier ein abwechslungsreiches und reichhaltiges Frühstück; mit O-saft, Kaffee und Ei, frischen Broten, Käse und Fleisch... zum fairen Preis und mit freundlichem Service. Wir sassen draussen, das Restaurant sah auch drinnen sehr gemütlich aus. Empfehlung - ich würde da wieder hingehen!
