A very nice brasserie bar in Cologne. I had a filet steak with potato gratin, carpaccio and two cocktails: Cosmo Espresso Martini. Everything was delicious, service and atmosphere were good. It's slightly pricey for what it is though...

We had a reservation for 10:00 PM yesterday and were unfortunately treated extremely condescendingly right from the start. The receptionist (brunette, straight hair) made us feel unwelcome from the very beginning, despite our valid reservation. First, we were told to sit at the bar, then we were told our table was still occupied. When we were asked at 10:30 PM if we would like to order food and declined, we received a condescending and disrespectful comment that reservations are only permitted for those ordering food and that we should only make reservations for those occasions next time. This kind of treatment of guests is completely unprofessional. If such rules exist, they must be clearly communicated, not delivered in a condescending tone on-site. It's a real shame, because this is exactly how you drive away customers.
