Finally, on a mild spring evening, we sat in the sheltered, covered outdoor seating area right next to Amabile. Friday evening. Unfortunately, it wasn 't quite full, which doesn 't reflect the restaurant 's character at all. We received a very friendly welcome and were able to choose a nice table at 7:15 pm. (Addendum: The pleasant atmosphere was marred by numerous guests from the adjacent restaurant who couldn 't find it – despite clear signage. It must have been really annoying for the Amabile staff, who were always friendly and tried their best to guide these confused guests. The menu promised a culinary delight just by reading it. We ordered the three-course set menu, which supposedly offers more for a bit less money. We started with an Aperol Spritz, a classic, and were thrilled – rarely are the proportions and ingredients presented so well. The start was guaranteed. As a prelude, we received a ring-shaped butter dish filled with olive oil in the center and served with crusty white bread. The roast beef with the sauce served in a small bowl and the small salad bouquet was not only beautiful to look at but also tasted delicious. For our main course, being meat lovers, we opted for the filet. Served with potato gratin and some decorative vegetables, the meat was cooked to perfection. A true delight. The subsequent cheese selection, enjoyed with a glass of red port, was superb, even though it only included soft cheeses and no hard ones. They certainly didn 't skimp on the quantity! The only slight drawback was that the wine list wasn 't quite to our liking. But that 's okay. Three and a half hours later, after a very pleasant and delicious evening, we sadly had to leave the restaurant. We wish the entire team continued success and: we 'll be back.
Simply fantastic! Wonderful atmosphere, friendly service, and great attention to detail. One of the best places ever!
A wonderful evening at Amabile. The four-course menu (I had roast beef, followed by incredibly delicious oxtail pralines, tuna, and mango yogurt ice cream for dessert) was worth every penny. The lack of a wine pairing wasn't a problem, as there are some very tasty wines available by the glass or bottle. The wines are a bit pricey, but perfectly in line with the menu and wine prices. The service was quick, very attentive, and incredibly friendly. Thank you for this fantastic evening – we'll definitely be back.
Simply amazing! Service, food, atmosphere – everything was top-notch. We'll definitely be back!
Basically a fine shop. The maitre d is sugar, the decor is tasteful and cozy, the food is really good. What we would like: 3.5 hours waiting time in a moderately full store for 4 courses is far too long! Please turn the music off or at least turn it down. In such an atmosphere I don't want to speak out against loud girlie pop music. The prices are pretty hefty. All in all, a nice, recommendable store.
