As Cologne is to Italians what Berlin is to the Turkish one can and does expect an authentically Italian experience at a place like this and gets it. Espresso is very good, as are the panini and other Italian nibbles on offer at a very fair price. That also helps erase memories of occasionally very slow and forgetful service... When in Cologne I usually try and cram in breakfast at Al Barretto at some point. I urge you to do the same. And bring some time.
