Viet Thai Cuisine - Koeln

After reading the reviews here we thought we would try this restaurant as we had to do some food shops nearby. first the positive things: very nicely decorated restaurant, very fast kitchen (the people spend in the rule 20-30 min there incl. eating), nice staff, brought us a baby chair after he had asked. Unfortunately, eating was very disappointing. we had the tom kha pak suppe, which is in the regular a very tasteful coconut supp-based with fresh coriander, galangal and lemongrass and full of vegetables and tofu. the suppe came super fast and was hot, but there was no lemongrass or galangal to find a few coriander leaves found their way into the suppe a joined 5 pieces tofu, 2 pieces tomato and mushrooms and a sad piece brokkoli. it tasted in the ground like cocos milk, but strangely sweet. we expected more of a suppe for 4,50€. then we had one of the Vietnamese shells (93a) with tofu without the fish sauce. the description in the menu sound promising, but again we were disappointed. for 10€ they have a large bowl of rice noodles with a bundle of deep fried tofu, which has not been embellished with lemongrasss a swash as described. there was almost no fun. I had more sauce than my man, so I had to throw him a few so that his court would not be so dry. in the rule, they get some spiced carrots and radishes, some cut gurks, a whole series of fresh crumbles and some drowned and fried wobbles and some salate. here were 2 slices, 1 piece of carrots and a plush salad, a few fried wobbles and drowned. we expected more. we had our 10-month baby with us, so we asked for some stir fried vegetables without salt, as he eats finger food, but they refused to prepare everything for him. then we asked for at least a few gurkens or some kind at all. they offered us twice boiled rice, but ended up only 2 slices of gurke. I had Sone snacks in my backpack, but it was still a very sad evening meal for our baby. when we finished eating the waitress began our bowls and teller in a larger bowl right in front of us on our table to empty, thrown into some serviettes etc. that's just disgusting. they do not do that in advance when their guests. in other restaurants even in the city center they get a better quality for less money. we would not recommend this place.

When ordering pad thai without the ei', they noticed it as vegan' on their own faust automatically! in contrast to many other Asian food places like it, this has convinced me that they know and care. the food is exactly what they would expect in terms of quality for the price.

Eating was good that we photographed with tofu and tofu red curry. tasty and affordable.

You can order almost every dish vegan. They have a very nice roofed terrace.
