Incredibly good food with a very good value for money. Always like it.

I was there for the second time and absolutely enthusiastic about food. The ambience is also very interesting and stimulating. If you look at the treats in the many showcases, you get a direct appetite. And you will also be rewarded at dinner, which is really great! Only the service is somewhat optimisable from my point of view. Even when we entered the restaurant we had to wait until we were guided to our reserved table. During the stay we always had the feeling to wait. Still, I like to come back.

I can't write it often enough: the Mercato is and remains my favorite restaurant in Cologne. Excellent, diverse antipasti, wonderful stews and meat dishes and a stunningly good dessert plate. What more do you want? Oh, a super nice service and a big wine card!

And in summer, when you can use the tables outside, you sometimes have the chance to get a place spontaneously. I have already said all the more about Mercato several times: excellent food at fair prices with very good wines and that in really enough large portions with an incredible appetizer plate and with the most delicious desserts I know. Very, very good!

We stayed at Mercato last Saturday for dinner. Due to good reviews in various forums, we decided for this restaurant and were not disappointed. The excellent service and the good recommendations of the waiter, who comes to his guests, contributed to the delicious appetizers, very judicious main dishes and then the desserts. We were lucky to sit out, which was very nice. But we're looking forward to the next time we're going to sit inside to witness the drive. Keep going like that, then make fun.
