The night we were there was the middle of the Koln fair so the restaurant was fully. However the service was excellent, very friendly and attentive. It had the feel of a true family restaurant. The menu is presented on a...large board by the staff. Its a nice touch and allows everyone to discuss and choose together, |presumably also as its updated regularly. The food was very good. Fresh ingredients, well cooked and no faff. I had the calamari to start (not deep fried) with a salad, which was delicious. The pasta course was plated up at the table, served in a light cheese sauce with grated truffle. Again excellent. Main course I had a pistachio nut crusted tuna steak. It was huge and cooked very well. Served with a few potatoes and vegetables. Again absolutely delicious. I was very impressed with Etrusca, we had a fantastic evening with great food, service and wine!

The pasta texture was poor; for the same price, you can get black truffle beef pasta at other restaurants, and it tastes much better. The steak was just average, but considering the price, it wasn't great. The Fisch Suppe was alright, which redeemed it a little, but not much We waited almost an hour from appetizer to main course, and it was incredibly noisy the whole time… (Of course, this isn't the restaurant's fault; it's a common problem in German-speaking areas).
