I have read the experiences of gg colleagues x2x on Christmas markets. we already knew we could make a tour through the city center before. parking is not easy in köln and if you find a place, it often goes into the money. after that we wanted to make a day card from the kwb for mini groups. So we broke up in the late morning, and we had luck: no stout and a parking lot. on the way to the railway came a small hunger to us. nothing big, after all there was an evening meal with several curses later. in the city part severins have not opened all natives already at midday, but the selection is still huge. so what is it, only in a bistro – there was a daily dish on the table outside. the elsa is called restaurant, bar and caffe. ambiente we entered the restaurant and were kindly welcomed. some places were still free and we could choose a table from it. the gas house seemed to consist of two areas: the seat and the bar area as well as the seats for the dining area. that seemed all cozy and thoughtful. in the style of a brewhouse equipment: solid chairs, bare tables. cleanliness the house was neatly maintained. sanitation the image was not so good on the toilet. a stretch was locked (to hang with foil and the floor was a bit sticky (I don't want to know what, but they have fantasies. but soap, toilet paper and towel were already neat so that the important things were there. service of the young man in the service was friendly and attentive and answered all questions without problems (e.g. on ingredients.) in the tresen was a female force that cared for the commands. the card(s) on the table stood the extensive drink card, the menu by midday was handed over to us. on the wall was also a large black plate with other current alignments. we ordered twice the day dish and an salad plate with wings. we took water. we left alcohol because we wanted to press Christmas markets. peters is shown here as crumbs. this is not so widespread in carnation. Previously it was brewed in monheim. the family was also allowed to lead the addition of a carol (although the town of monheim belongs to the district government of düsseldorfs.) the family still operates in the old town the peters brewhouse (in the Brügelmann house on the old market.) on the way we received four slices of fresh bread and a bowl with dip. the brot was us tasty. the cream consisted of paprika, tomato and chili in a fresh cheese mix. the taste was noticeably salty and sharply piquant. with the brot together not so bad. the daily dish: ruby cake with baked salate and mushroom (6.90 €) the two ruby cakes were well seasoned and thicker than expected. they were therefore also much softer and more juicy than flat examples, which are crispy and firmer. the tomato were fresh, the mushrooms were slightly roasted. a lot was distributed. the salate leaves were also crunchy. some fresh expressions gave the court some acidity. I was very happy with the court. mixed salad with chicken (9,90 € here were turbulent carrots, radicchio strips, mushrooms, chicorée, rocket, Frisee tips and sprout in a hill shaped and flavored with a delicious dressing. that tasted very good. only the chicorée leaves did not want to play along; they were not comminuted, had not taken any clothes and were only bitter. perhaps they should be just decoration? roasted chicken meat was well seasoned and juicy; it was plentiful on the plate. so also a passable plate. the bottle selters (0,75l met with 5,50 € to book. so strengthened, we went to the attack and drove towards the “market of hearts” (each official market in köln has its own motto. there were music contributions on the stage (selection of a primary school; the “Eating Buds” were not at all in the overnumber, the sales levels were diverse.
