This place has 3 menus (you can also go a la carte) of which you are vegan. Middle East Israeli Lebanese food. Not quite salty (which can be the case with some other restaurants in Copenhagen). Amazing quality. Nice bread too. The staff is friendly. On a beautiful pedestrian square. Has outdoor seating and indoor seating.
Given the eating options in Copenhagen we were disappointed in ourselves for making a poor choice on this occasion. The location is in the city centre in a pretty square full of restaurants so there is a pleasant and lively atmosphere. We hadn’t booked and staff were welcoming and helpful in finding us a table outside so all started well. The menu choices were imaginative and interesting. There was nothing awful in our experience overall but my lamb kebab was really fatty I know lamb is fatty but there was very little meat for me to actually eat. Compensation was promptly offered in the form of a free coffee but I think the compensation should have been a little more. The flatbread with dips were very tasty. The cauliflower main dish was very tasty but the cauliflower still too raw for it to be really enjoyable. So overall it felt a bit hit and miss rather than everything being average it was a mix of good parts and bad parts. Similarly with service really friendly staff and other members of the team unfriendly. Service was overall slow. We paid similar high Danish prices to our other nights in Copenhagen but this was the only time we felt we didn’t get great value for money probably because it was the only time we ate in a touristy area.
Lovely vegetarian friendly restaurant. They have set menus for vegetarians and fish lovers and you just choose the quantity of courses. We opted for the set vegetarian menu with dessert and it was fabulous. We couldn’t finish there was so much food so pace yourself especially as the last savoure dish is a new addition to the menu (peas in a yoghurt sauce), with what they call flat bread but we’re more like bread airy bread with pockets you could fill with the food if you wanted, though that’s not what they are for. This dish pairs well with the fabulous pineapple tomatoes. We couldn’t enjoy the bread in that dish, nor finish the pea and tomato dish as we were stuffed. Despite the meal being copious the fresh strawberries, meringue and coconut ice cream just slid down somehow. Very friendly service with staff working in a team oriented manner. Although the restaurant is cozy, the soundproofing is poor and diners’ conversations reverberates against the walls.
One of the best cods I've ever had.
Virkelig en fantastisk stemning. Serverne var super søde og imødekommende. Vi fik deres menu, hvilket var det perfekte valg. Og så laver de nogle virkelig lækre cocktails. Absolut et genbesøg værd.
