Called in f... read more Well, I only write this in the hope that someone from the place keeps an eye on the reviews. Up there with the worst service I 've ever come across. Called in for a drink pre dinner elsewhere. Directed to a table on the nice terrace with a smile. Called the same front of house for service after 15 minutes, part way through ordering was told, your server will be with you in a moment. Managed to flag down our non too busy server another 10 minutes later to be told, O, sorry. I thought you were being looked after. I started by pointing out that there were other tables waiting on service longer than us...

Unfortunately, the menu is completely inadequate a... read more If you Google Gluten-free in Koblenz, you 'll be recommended the Kaffeewirtschaft am Münzplatz, among others. Unfortunately, the menu is completely inadequate and in some cases even incorrectly labeled with the relevant allergy information. The two waitresses present were very attentive and genuinely friendly, but were just as unhelpful as the chef. The chef we called (who supposedly knows what 's on the menu now gluten-free) didn 't have the time (or inclination) to provide information at the time of our visit. Two stars because the ambiance was lovely and the blonde waitress, in particular, was really super nice and extremely helpful. Conclusion: The Kaffeewirtschaft is not suitable for people with intolerances. For visitors without any restrictions, it 's certainly wonderful here.

Many vegetarian and vegan dishes are available for both small and large appetites. The food was delicious, the portions generous, and the service attentive.
