They advertise $15 ¥1500) lunch on their entrance, but the menus inside are over $150 ¥1500). The server distracts you from paying attention to the price and the extra 0 by talking about different cuts and sizes.

The meat was so soft and melted in... read more The staff can speak English and has an English menu. They have an example of the sizes of the cuts as well (120g, 200g, etc). The meat was so soft and melted in your mouth. When we went it wasn't busy (8pm on a week day) so everything was served fresh and quickly. You could cut the meat with just your fork. If the other places are full, which they were for us, don't let the location fool you. It's a great little place. The staff was friendly, so don't let past reviews from the past deter you.

This set is only for... read more Just take note that the signs placed outside the restaurant offers ¥1500 Kobe beef set meals for lunch hours could be a little misleading. This set is only for a 60g piece of Kobe beef (which I reckon was one of the lower grades if you don 't mind) which was already gratifying. Be sure to get a ¥800 piece of A5 graded Kobe beef, you won 't be disappointed with it. We enjoyed that the most too. Just a pity that the restaurant decided to allow its patrons to utilise disposable wooden chopsticks whicj I personally felt did not do justice to the pricing and esp the Kobe beef.. :
