If you are looking for PIZZA in this area this is the place for you. The Pizza is really amazing, best dough (napoli style), tomato sauce with a perfect taste and Mozzarella. Meal type: Lunch Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
This place has recently gotten a new owner and he managed to keep the simple friendly vibe and upgrade the menu without making it too posh. This is the kind of place I love to support: bringing some European treats whilst blending perfectly in the local scenery and not yielding for gentrification... Gracie kap! No aircon but fans; no instagramizable cappuccini but quality coffee that tastes good rather than looking good (even though it looks good too , it's a place where my Italian friends go to for their morning coffee or panini lunch. It's also a place where internationalized (yet local Thai people go too. The staff is friendly, competent, and well treated, and the owner takes pride in doing good. If you're looking for a laid back, simple, and quality place, this is one of them... I personally don't go for eggs there, I prefer panini, but I assume eggs should be ok... This being said, it's an Italian place, they have good coffee, Italian ham and cheese, and they started making pizze, do maybe you want to skip the eggs;
I don't like to be a hater, but I just think that there are 2 much better Italian restaurants in Chaloklum with true Italian chefs. 320 baht for below average spaghetti Bolognese? Nah man, not for me. It was just meat and pasta with almost no sauce. Also with no parmesan for some reason? I basically ate the pasta and then all the meat was left on the bottom. The meat itself was good, but still. When ordering I also deliberately asked them about their best dish.
I really wanted to like this place, however our food was quite disappointing. The omelette was very oily, the bread seemed stale, and the avocado toast was bland. The staff was kind and did their best, but communication was difficult. I also recommend using a different kind of soy milk for coffee!
