The food was amazing - we started with the calamari and then had the curried whole snapper and roast duck salad for our main dishes, all of which were excellent. The prices are a bit higher than other places not as close to the beach, but the quality of the food makes it worth it. This was the best meal we've had in Thailand. The atmosphere was also fantastic, with a fire show on the beach. A visit to this restaurant in Koh Lanta is a must.

On fire show nights reservations are recommended. The hamburgers were well I resented and tasted great! Why four stars out if five? Most items on the menu cost between 300-450 baht or about $8.50-$14.00 per item.

We had reserved through hotel and got a great table on the front reservations suggested to get best spots! Lovely service throughout the evening and some of the best food eaten in Thailand. Shared starters included excellent coconut shrimp, calamari and surf n turf sliced beef with shrimp. All excellent. The main menu is varied with mix of Thai, steaks, burgers, pasta and pizza. We all chose three Thai dishes which were all absolutely fantastic everyone commented how good they were. Will definitely be back the burgers also looked excellent. Highly recommended if staying in the long beach area or close by/

The restaurant is situated on the beach and a bed of rocks and is a perfect setting for a beautiful sunset. The atmosphere is amazing with soft music playing in the background. The staff is attentive and the food is excellent. We had the crispy beef as an appetizer. Excellent. I had the green curry risotto with fried chicken. Fried chicken breast was fried perfectly. The curry risotto was excellent. Just beware it has a bit of a kick. My husband had the grilled pork tenderloin with gravy, mashed potatoes and salad and he cleaned his plate and said it was the best meal he has had in Thailand. They also have a very well stocked bar. Bill 14.00 USD per person. This restaurant goes by Fat Turtle Beach Restaurant and turtle beach restaurant. The owner has two other restaurants The Fat Monkey and the Fat Pig. My try one of those tonight. The Thai House Beach Resort is adjacent to the restaurant. This restaurant is a must.

The amazing brown bread is not availab... read more The restaurant used to be fantastic in 2019/2020, especially for breakfast. However, the quality has declined since then. The amazing brown bread is not available anymore, and there are no longer any old menu add-ons for fry ups, which is disappointing. The staff are still doing their best and are helpful. I recommend trying other places nearby, such as Backyard.
