In the Klong Nin Beach area, the restaurant that even waiters from other restaurants recommend is Cook-Kai. It is located on the street, not on the waterfront (the only downside), but the cozy atmosphere definitely makes up for it. The grilled fish is very fresh (the barracuda barbecue is really good), but the must-try dish is the kata ron seafood: a dish made with seafood served on an extremely hot plate with vegetables and a sauce that is a mixture of spicy and tangy. The grilled fish is exceptionally fresh (try the barracuda barbecue), but the standout dish is the Kata Ron seafood - a delectable seafood dish served on a sizzling hotplate with veggies and a spicy-sweet salsa. We enjoyed our meals so much that we visited twice during our stay. The food was delicious and made with fresh ingredients, and the beer was served ice cold. The service was quick and efficient, and the chef even greeted us and escorted us to our table, which was a nice touch. Overall, we highly recommend visiting this restaurant, chatting with the owner, who is a fantastic host, and enjoying a delicious meal.
