Every dish we tried was delicious, and the cauliflower and blue cheese soup was simply outstanding. The main courses were equally impressive, featuring pulled lamb bobotie and duck confit, served with a selection of vegetables that included corn fritters and baby marrow ragout. When the dessert board arrived, despite having eaten quite a bit already, we couldn't resist indulging. I'm so glad we did— the bread and butter pudding with salted caramel ice cream is truly worth traveling for; it was incredible. Overall, from the food to the atmosphere and service, nothing was lacking. We will definitely be returning on our next trip to Knysna!

We went for a late lunch today 23 Aug 2023. Winning dish Chicken Curry. Their meal the day Short Rib on mash was very delicious. There's a deli section with delicious cold meats and cheeses and they are well stocked with preserves and pickles. Friendly staff and great service. Outside tented seating available and the inside is very cosy with views of the lake lagoon. A delightful stop highly recommended.

I have found the food in Knysna apart from this restaurant to be below average. <br/ If i am in the area i love to go there for Sunday lunch.<br/ <br/

The establis... read more This is an incredible restaurant with a fantastic atmosphere. It's essential to make reservations well in advance if you plan to visit in December. The establishment is run by a charming husband and wife duo; she handles the front of house, while he cooks alongside just one other person in the kitchen. The food is consistently excellent.
