Smash Mouth Bbq - Knoxville

I ordered the smoked sausage, Mac and cheese, and smoked cabbage at this restaurant. Everything was delicious and the service was quick.

I had a fantastic experience! The pulled pork dinner plate was so delicious that I didn't even have time to take a picture before devouring it. The collard greens were amazing, and the cornbread was moist and tasty. This BBQ joint surpasses any of the well-known ones in Knoxville. They even had the Duke and NC game playing in the dining room. I will definitely be returning!

I felt it was time to provide an update on this restaurant. I have been dining here for more than a year now and I particularly enjoy the chicken quarters they offer on Fridays. However, I recently had a negative experience that has led me to find another dining spot. I usually visit on Fridays to dine in and also order takeout for my coworkers who are unable to leave work. During a recent visit, I placed an order and while I was eating, another customer walked in and placed a large order. To my dismay, the restaurant took food from my order to fulfill the other customer's request. They did refund me for the missing items, but I was greatly disappointed by this lack of customer service. I have been a loyal customer, referring at least 50 people to dine here in the past year. I cannot comprehend how this behavior is acceptable in any way.

Literally best BBQ hands down. The people are so great and friendly. The food is BEYOND delicious. We literally buy it in bulk and freeze it. You guys are the best.
