Shoney's Rutledge Pike - Knoxville

I dined alone, but I received just the right level of attention from the staff. They were generous with refills and the servers were friendly and attentive. The menu offered a good variety of food options. I ordered from the menu this time, but I had enjoyed the salad bar during a previous visit. The food was well-prepared and flavorful. The atmosphere was refreshing, with music from the 50s and 60s playing in the background. While it may not suit everyone's taste, it definitely works for me. Overall, it was a pleasant experience.

One of the best Shoneys. Fresh delicious food. Waitresses actually check for you. Eating is really boiled South-style. No green beans simply spilled out and warmed up. they cook them back with fat! Yummy! And they have the best pot roast! Clean toilets too.

Oh my goodness! What an amazing place. We're visiting from Alaska, and they took such great care of us during our long trip. Billy was our server, and he was incredibly attentive, enthusiastic, and polite. The food was fantastic. Kykeigh and Ebony were the other servers, and they were really helpful too. But truly, Billy stood out—he's a special talent. What a gentleman and what a wonderful restaurant!

Food could be a little fresher on the bar, but Nicole as always was a big server and made sure that our drinks were kept full of French toast was pretty hard and cheese was crispy and Gravy was not hot

This was my first visit to this Shoney's, and I found it to be clean and well-maintained. The staff was incredibly friendly, and the manager was very pleasant as well. I would certainly return in the future. However, I do think they could benefit from updating the interior a bit. That said, it didn't detract from my overall positive experience.
