Tyler was awesome.. Filet Mignon Rueben wontons were excellent. The restaurant is small, but quaint and was very clean. Tyler served us and was friendly and attentive. Things you should know: they serve beer wine only and portions are huge so consider sharing. View all feedback.
This restaurant is a must when in La Grange. The menu is quirky, especially the children's menu. You have to taste the fried banana unsplit (deformed) and the bacon cake. Yum! Monica took care of us.

Stumbled upon this restaurant while waiting to make a video of the train on main. As an ex fine dining restaurant owner in NYC I have very high standards when dining out. But this place hit the mark on everything. First off restaurant was at 80% capacity at least and we still received very attentive and personal service from our waiter Carter. Food was served promptly hot and fresh. My steak was cooked rare to perfection, the beans and bacon mashed were perfect. Both deserts the deep fried banana and the creme brûlée was creative and full of flavor. All of this was less than half what you would have paid in a fancy restaurant in a major metropolitan. I would say this place is 100% worth visiting if your in La grange or from anywhere near its worth the drive.
Best pie ever! The bacon pie. The food is always amazing. Love the small town atmosphere and great service. My favorite Lagrange stop.
You will not be let down coming here!!! My husband and I were traveling and we like to find small mom and pop places to stop. I Googled the area and found them. Their menu intrigued me because it had some very unique ways standard dishes were changed... and boy is it for the good! It's a quaint restaurant and it seemed the locals liked to frequent there. The place was packed out when we got there. My husband order the juicy fruit and I got the braised beef. I would highly recommend both, but my husband meal was phenomenal. If you want a twist on bonless grilled pork chops that is like no other smothered in an amaretto reduction, order this! My braised beef was more like glorified pot roast, but it tasted AMAZING. We both were commenting how good our meal was the whole time we ate. Once we finished our meal, because it was so good we decided to order dessert. He got the bread pudding and I got the cream brulee. Both were phenomenal and full of their own unique flavors. I don't normally get dessert because I don't like the sweetness. These both were nit overly sweet, but so tantalizing to your taste buds. If we travel through this area again, we are definitely making a stop here for a meal. Don't pass this place up!! You won't be disappointed!!
