It star... read more Unfortunately, we did not have an pleasant experience today. It was the poor service that let it down. It was chaotic although the restaurant was empty. It started with drinks (half empty bottle of tonic was presented/ and restaurant ran out of ice), then missing items from the order, undercooked meat, and to finish it off we were asked to move table (the reasons I understood). Once we moved inside, we were forgotten about. The food was average in comparison to price. Hopefully it was an off day for the restaurant but sadly we won’t be returning as we did not enjoy the experience. This used to be one of the places I liked returning to very disappointing! Indoors were not much better. Service was like the job was a punishment for the staff and they were upset with each other. Food varied from mediocre to good. I’m sure lots of thought and heart went into initial concept (place must have been amazing when opened) but it seems it slipped off the track significantly. Still I believe with new/retrained staff and management, the place could be amazing it has all the potential to be.
