The service... read more I visited this Italian restaurant for the first time. There is a parking space in the area, the environment around the cafe is adapted for children. The service was pleasant. There was certainly plenty to choose from. I chose pizza so I could compare it with other restaurants I visited. It was good, almost no dough, which I like. But it wasn't quite wow. But I figured I'd give the Gargano... read more I don't like to write restaurant reviews, especially when it comes to food that I didn't pay for, but to which I was invited. But I figured I'd give the Gargano restaurant some time. The food was very good. No need to waste superlatives highlighting how good it was. I had the Peperonata pizza and it was definitely one of the best pizzas I have ever eaten. What I don't have any superlatives for is: beer. 12° Pilsner Urquell was the only one offered in a pint, but I am convinced that the one brought to me did not measure up. Which was rather a plus, I haven't had such a bad 12 for a long time. Another specific point is the service. I don't remember any waiter in any restaurant being so quick to guess which half of the table is where the bigger gourmands (and money) are hiding and making it so blatantly obvious from the first order. I have already eaten in various restaurants elsewhere in the Czech Republic, in Italy itself, Poland, Switzerland, Croatia, etc. in the Güldene-Gans restaurant in Saalfeld, Germany, and nowhere have I encountered such arrogance. And since I really don't like waiters fawning over me, there's really no chance I'll ever visit Gargano again.

We were extremely satisfied with the service, which is very professional, they also take care of the service for children pizza plates, napkins, etc. We had steaks, salads, pizza and some appetizers. Great, fragrant, atmosphere like in the south. We were thrilled that the ingredients are of good quality and the place is beautiful with good parking in the yard, or even in the barn in the shade. We recommend. Vegetarian options: Vegetable salads, Italian appetizers, pizza, pasta, all great. Parking: In the yard, or in the barn yard in the shade. Kid-friendliness: Children's playground right next to the tables, toys, pillows under the ass. Carpet instead of gravel so they can run barefoot. Automatically carries small plates to divide meals for children.
