Sanya Sushi Japanese Chinese Cuisine

First time here despite vacationing in OBX for many years, typical sushi menu but quality of food was amazing, staff very friendly.

We have been coming to OBX for YEARS, and now live here never ate here until today. Why? The name...one of us eats sushi, the other does not so we never looked beyond the road sign where is says Sushi Bar . Very much our loss.Very nice on the side, and larger then I expected. The service was polite, friendly, prompt, and fast without being pushy. They have what i would call a a pretty typical asian cuisine type menu. Servings are HUGE, well prepared, HOT temperature wise, and very good.As to the sushi, I did get the Yellowtail Jalapeno sushi which was good but not great (that said I am an admitted sushi snob and really only like nigiri style which this was not).Would we eat here again 100% yes without question.

I always have a good meal here. Pricing is good for the area, especially at lunch. Service is good. Clean area and bathroom. I have gotten a couple rolls of sushi each time and have never been disappointed.

Honestly the best sushi I’ve ever eaten, coming from some who who worked at a sushi restaurant before. The staff was so friendly and nice, very pretty clean restaurant and the sushi was out of this world.

Local here going to this place since I was in high school 2009 and never complained...until now. I ordered the $22 Hibachi Chicken Entree and this is what I got. Drove here from grandy. Normally when we eat there, we spend over $50 to feed 2 and this portion of food was very disappointing. Definitely have the best costumer service in the front of house.
