A few summers ago, we visited this pub all summer....to the point we had to take a break because it was becoming $400 a month habit, but we loved the patio, the... read more A few summers ago, we visited this pub all summer....to the point we had to take a break because it was becoming $400 a month habit, but we loved the patio, the service and the food was decent....so we'd get 10-12 of us almost every weekend out for drinks and food.It's been a year since I've been back, and OH MAN am I disappointed !! I don't know if they are under new management, but the food was terrible !! We had reservations for a birthday party for 16, and no one was happy with their food. A couple people got the antojitos and there were about 8 small pieces on the plate, along with a scattering of green onions that were cut in uneven sizes and some were brown. Seemed like they took a small tortilla wrap and used that. At least put it on a smaller plate if you want it to look like there's more than there was.I ordered cheesy fries, with gravy on the side. Now, you used to get a "basket of fries" and the menu still says that, but I got a plate of semi cooked fries, that I had to wonder if it fell on the floor because the cheese was all at the bottom, and there were chucks of burnt cheese thrown on top. I guess perhaps the gravy would have covered how bad they are normally.The waitresses are terrible, dumb as stumps, and would barely come to take plates or refill our drinks. Food didn't come all at the same time, so a few of our friends had to watch us eat for 5 mins or so.Then the "band" started. Not our type of music, but he wasn't a bad singer, but HOLY COW it was loud !! I ended up ripping pieces of napkin off to stuff in my ears, I'm not kidding !! and I'm not even 50 yet !! haha. One of our friends is a sound guy and he was tempted to play with the controls just to bring it to a level that would be appropriate for the size of the venue. lol.So at the end of the day, that's the last time we will visit. it's gone so completely downhill and the food (from the whole table) was terrible. I guess we'll find a new $400 a month patio, maybe Bobby O'Briens :) Avoid unless you want to meet for drinks only and even then make sure you bring your patience.

We were there for over 40 min before we got anything to eat.There was no inquiry to make sure our food was suitable and the offer to replenish drinks only came as we finished the meal. There was never any mention of the dessert that was supposed to be included with a child meal and we didn't pursue this because we had been sitting there quite long enough.

I enjoy live music, but when I can't hear the person beside me that isn't good. If the music was lowered a few decibels, I would give this place 5 stars.
