I have not ventured here often, but I did so on a trip to Toronto using VIA. Wow, what a find. Best pour over I've had, certainly in the KW area. I had a muffin as well, which was tasty, but the star of the show was the coffee. I will return. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Smile Tiger Cafe:
I'd been dropped off to catch the train and had time for a coffee and muffin. The time was about 7:30 am. The savoury muffin was stale even when heated. The 2nd try, blueberry, still frosty in the middle. Guess who doesn't have fresh muffins in daily. Well it has caught up with you, Smile Tiger. Not impressed with service but coffee was good. What a great way to start the day. Catching the train or on your way to work? Stop here and get some real java bean. Surprisingly high class.
Premium prices. They have attempted to overcharge my credit card for an additional 20%. At the time of this post it has not been corrected yet. I will accept the inflated charge and never go back or see a resolution and do future business. Simple in my mind.
I really liked the little snacks there, there is a lot to choose from. We did not really interact with the workers there, not much talking. I really liked it because it was very calming and me and my friend had a little chat, with no interruptions, like clinking of plats, or people talking loudly, none of that! Like the snacks... and good for quick stops!
Very disappointing experience at Smile Tiger. Staff aren't very friendly and my London Fog tasted manufactured. Wasn't even made with an actual Earl Grey tea bag. And it was not hot. Not worth the money that's for sure.
Love this place, delicious coffee and great service and I love the location!! Perfect spot to grab a specialty brew.
