Crabby Joe's Tap & Grill - Kitchener

I made reservations for 15 of us to celebrate a birthday. The birthday boy is a huge baseball fan, and that's why we chose to go to Crabby Joe's on a game night. We reached a bit early and enjoyed our first round of drinks with appetizers in their newly renovated patio and then got barstools near the big screen to watch the game. The food was the best pub food I've had in a long time and their portions are quite large. Most of us ended up taking back boxes of our unfinished food. All in all it was a great evening with friends, thanks to the wonderful customer service and great atmosphere. A truly memorable birthday celebration.

Salad came with dressing when asked for none. Second salad came without the beets, asparagus, goat cheese or pecans. ? Sent it back. Then the chef comes out to make eye contact with me. What? Manager sits behind us the whole time. Never ever going back there. Disgusting.

Rarely do I write a review that is unsatisfactory. It was with disappointment that we left the Waterloo location today.My choice because I have always loved the food and it was Mother's dayMy daughter made reservations for 5 of us to celebrate Mother's day for 1:00 o'clockWe ordered 2 quinoa salads, a burger, a club sandwich and a halibut dinner and after an hour, still no food. The waitress realized and said she would go check "It will be here in four minutes" All orders cam in at the same time(might happen when people reserve for a certain time)After 10 minutes and still no food we decided to leave as the afternoon was wearing on and there were other mothers to visit.And to put the last nail in the day, the place was not busyMoral of the story:do not assume that just because you have reservations and it is Mother's day that there will be enough staff to get food in a reasonable amount of timeI am disappointed that i will have to try to search for another establishment that has such an awesome quinoa salad

Got there and there was at least 3 or 4 more empty tables, so busy but not too busy.Got seated and waited for server, I had to finally get up and motion for a server, I guess this should have been a clue.Placed our order and got our drinks, later again had to go and find a server to get refills on our drinks.There were 4 adults and 2 children, we had to wait an hour and a half for our food.my daughters chicken salad had the chicken burned black, which mad the entire salad taste burnt.Offered 20% discount, and bill was still over $100, sorry too bad service and too bad food.Will never return.

This establishment is a awsome one the atmosphere is excellent servers and staff are on point owners are very personable the food is worth the wait all in all have great experiences here
