"The food was fantastic and the staff were extremely welcoming. The interior has a rustic charm, but the delicious food more than makes up for it."

I absolutely adore Epicure. I have been there multiple times and it never disappoints! The food is like a masterpiece with incredible flavors. The staff is friendly, well-informed, and attentive. They also serve the best coffee in Huddersfield. It's a fantastic place to dine.

Excellent quality food. It will take a few visits to work out the optimum number to order 2 or 3 small plates or 1 and 1 large etc) Price will influence final combo. We had two small and one large. One small plate was ribeye with thrice cooked chips. Delicious. Great value. The other small plate was mackerel scampi which at £10.50 for 6 pieces was a bit on the pricey side and looked small even on a small plate! Needs salad or vegetable. My large plate was a burger absolutely delicious. Just one minor point: the prices on menu were not clear there was a ‘dot’ in the middle of the zero so the £10.50 scampi looked like it was costing me £18.50 ! Which wouldn’t have been good value and at a tenner it was top end for the portion size. Great food though definitely go again.

I loved this place the first time I've been just for some light bites. I visited it again with some friends last Sunday for lunch. Food is very good, but I found it very expensive. We all did. We were three people, had 2 beers and 1 water to drink, nachos and mac&cheese balls to share and 3 sandwich steaks. The price was around 30£ each, which I honestly found expensive. I like the place but think if the price was a bit cheaper it would be better value for money.
