5 Stones Coffee Co - Kirkland

Fantastic coffee! Especially if you're wanting something more traditional European. I like cortados and their's was excellent!

The baristas are not very friendly. They never make eye contact and are very transactional. They raised prices for several items without updating the menu. I brought it to their attention after I noticed the price difference. The barista never offered to honor the menu price. I also asked them to update the menus but they just brushed it off. As of now the menus still have not been updated. God knows how many items are affected and how long it has been going on. It is dishonest practice and I believe in some places it is illlegal.

Until this morning, 5 Stones would have earned 5 stars: Good coffee, great pastries and excellent service. But they have instituted a no cash policy that disproportionately hurts the poor, the young and unwittingly plays into the hands of those who advocate for a cashless society where total transaction control is the likely outcome. Cash is King! I will spend my money somewhere else.

The breakfast sandwiches are consistently SOO good. Its probably one of my top favorite bfast sandwiches. However it takes forever to get your coffee and food. I ordered a simple small cold brew last weekend and it took over 25 minutes for my drink to come out.

Great coffee shop! We got the almond croissant and chocolate croissant and both were delicious. We also got iced lattes (mocha and maple syrup) and both were amazing! Great atmosphere and friendly staff
