we had a night in circuses and are really happy to eat here. Despite a booking (saturday night) the personal has taken us and felt very welcome. they helped with recommendations and help. when the food arrived, it was beautifully presented and tasted as good as it looked. the open kitchen style meant that we were able to observe the chefs at work and even chat with them, which further improves our culinary experience... This was a very disappointing experience because we were not served all of our crab meat. My husband and I have really enjoyed the seafood we've eaten while traveling through Norway, so naturally, we were excited to try the famous king crabs, too! We browsed several restaurants in Kirkenes and settled on Salt because they had the best selection of live king crabs. Since it was our first night in Kirkenes, we bit the bullet and ordered a 2200 NOK king crab. Once we had ordered, the waiter informed us that it would be a 45 minute wait so we ordered an appetizer. I ordered two sushi rolls but the waiter said the one with king crab wouldn't be available until the next day so I got a different roll. The sushi rolls were great, but then the king crab arrived. The presentation was nice, the joints were separated and the shells were cut open. However, a lot of the shells were empty, we were missing a claw, and there was absolutely NO lump crab meat. We felt completely cheated of our money. Today we went on a crab safari and saw what meat from a whole crab looked like. We will never go back to Salt. But I am sure they have plenty of king crab for their sushi rolls now.....

I've been here four times now and everything's perfect. sushi, burger, lachs and suppe, I tried everything. new staff is very fast and friendly. they taste cocktails. they are amazing!
That was a very disappointing experience because we did not serve all our crab meats. my man and I enjoyed the seafood we ate while we were through norweg, really, so natural, we were thrilled to taste the famous kings crab! we have visited several restaurants in kirkenes and settled on salt because they had the best selection of live clubs. when it was our first night in cirk, we bit the ball and ordered a 2200 NOK crown. After we had ordered, the waiter informed us that it would be a 45-minute waiting time for us to order a starter. I ordered two sushi rolls, but the waiter said that the hahn of the king would not be available until the next day, so I have another roll. the sushi rollers were great, but then the king crawled. the presentation was beautiful, the joints were separated and the shells were cut open. However, many dishes were empty, we lacked a claw, and there were absolutely no pearls of crawls. we felt totally deceived from our money. Today we went to a crab safari and saw how flesh looked out from a whole crab. we will never return to the salt again. but I'm sure they have a lot of kingscrab for their sushi roles now.
