Went and got crawfish on a Saturday night. Let me just say they were some the best crawfish I've had in a long time. Top 3. They peel so awesome. Not a dead one in all 15 lbs. The spice is absolutely perfect too. We also got 3 lbs of boiled shrimp which were also really good and just popped out the shell. Stopped in for the fish plate and shrimp and ordered the 6 piece dinner to share with my husband. The fish was very gooey and small. It was like they took 3 pieces of fish and cut them down to make six. A couple pieces were the size of 2 chicken nuggets put together. They were definitely not 6 pieces of fish. . Sometimes you make a random decision that turns out to life-altering. Me whipping the truck in the turn lane to grab some food at Dane?s while passing through Kirbyville was one of those times. I have never eaten there before. I ordered up the food and went thru it like my Hemi thru a tank of gas. Coleslaw, fried catfish, fried shrimp, French fries and hush puppies. (Clearly not the food on the cardiologist list of demands). Everything?even the tartar sauce was exactly what it was supposed to taste like. Soooo good! I could have ate a hush puppy the size of a cantaloupe if it tasted like those that came with my food. The staff is super friendly, helpful and knowledgeable of the menu items. Absolutely amazing stuff. I will most certainly find myself haphazardly ?passing through? Kirbyville to come here again! Thanks, Dane?s!
Very good food. Everyone is super friendly. We enjoy the drive to get there too.
Great food... best fried tomatoes... Hand battered everything... Our waitress was very knowledgeable. We will be back!
First time to eat there was very good if you are passing through and hungry good place to eat they seafood and other great items didn't eat them all but looked good going to other tables
Food was good. We had ordered a dozen oysters and some shrimp PO?boys. Food came out good and on time. Could go for more shrimp in the PO?boys
