Dino's - Kinsale
Dino's
Description
Dino's in Kinsale offers a casual and simple fish and chips experience. The fish is crispy and a good size for the price, although it may lack seasoning for some. Be prepared for potential communication issues with the staff, but overall the food is great with a charming atmosphere. While customer service may vary, the food is well worth the visit. With very fresh fish and tasty dressing, Dino's is known for having some of the best beer-battered fish around. Expect reasonable prices and a lovely atmosphere in the heart of Kinsale.

Lovely place to eat. Probably the best chipper in West Cork. Takeaway and restaurant. Usually has long queues but absolutely worth it. Fair prices and seating available in restaurant. Edited: Visited again on Sunday 14th January and whilst the food was good as expected. The service wasn't. The plates were dirty and so were the cutlery. I asked for a change of mugs because those were dirty too. Food is good but I might be hesitant to return if the hygiene remains unchanged.
Dino's is a Kinsale institution. A bleak January night its lights are on In we go. Smiling happy staff make the scattering of customers comfortable and welcome. Simple menu. Standard fare, but with a few nice additions, grilled plaice or lemon sole fillets, tasty Cajun salmon. Really good dressed salad. Very tasty tartare sauce house made? Excellent chips. Possibly the best meal of a five day midwinter midweek visit.
Beautiful location overlooking the sea, on the Kinsale seafront. Fantastic fish and chips! Delicious desserts. Excellent local beer. Excellent, fast, and friendly service. Everything very clean. I would definitely go back. Highly recommended!
