**Dining at Sals Bistro: A Mixed Experience in Kinross**
Nestled within a quaint hotel, Sals Bistro offers a cozy atmosphere for light bites and casual dining. While the hotel rooms provide spacious comfort, the cleanliness and maintenance standards raise concerns for some guests. Positive remarks highlight the excellent service from staff, particularly the manager's helpfulness. Guests appreciate the accessible location and quiet ambiance, making it a good choice for short stays. However, issues like limited menu options and abrupt service closing times can frustrate patrons. Overall, while some enjoyed a pleasant visit, others experienced significant disappointments that overshadowed their stay.

Ideal place to stop on my cycle from Edinburgh to John O'Groats. Shop and takeaways close by for food. Rooms: 5 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Great value
We just stayed here for one night but although the room wasn't updated, it was big and comfortable. The toilet was quite new and though the water pressure wasn't the best, it was enough for a good shower. Angie, who is in charge, was very helpful. Service: 5
We had a good stay here. We were staying for an event in Kinross so really just used the hotel to sleep Angie was super friendly and the location was perfect for us had a couple of pints in the Bar but otherwise spent very little time in hotel facilities are as advertised it is NOT super deluxe but EVERYTHING works and there are tea and coffee things in the room beds were comfortable and it was all nice and warm. Very close to everything Service: 5
Looking for a place that served somethings to eat at dinnertime we passed this establishment it's sited within the hotel and is called Sals Bistro) and decided to give it a go. Around the corner there is on street parking, free all day Sunday, timed to an hour during the day Monday to Friday. When we went in we were greeted by the server who informed us that at the moment there was only lite bites available paninis, rolls etc which was great because we didn't want a heavy meal. We ordered 2 paninis and 2 lattes. There was crisps and a salad to accompany the hot and tasty paninis. The bar area served most alcoholic drinks with craft beer on tap. There was cakes available to buy too. Outside there is a beer garden and another bar area. This is a great wee place to have a lite bite on your visit to Kinross. They were doing a little refurbishment around the bar and eating area but it was still spotlessly clean. The server was very polite, prompt and well presented she made us feel very welcome. Sorry I didn't get your name but you were working Sunday 17th July round about 1.30pm) We will definitely be back for another meal. Service: 5
