What Anonym dislikes about Slieve Bloom:
Last night, my two friends had a nice night, all were so friendly. that was until I told the barman that our drinks were taken by a co-worker, I am sure it was an accident, but that barman was absolutely roaring on me, never was spoken so rudely. he cried that he was the owner and I would have been looking for my drinks, told me to go and he was ready to talk to me (happy to take my money, will never be back there hi... Rude owner who sent us the packaging at a whole house in the interior and exterior. much bad speech and aggression here too. the only swallow in our fabulous visit in this beautiful village in the heart of the wonderful slieve blooms. in any case...you will bring our time into knaps pub next time staff much more friendly, polite and well there.
The pub does good beer, with (from what I remember is a friendly atmosphere). However this time around I inquired about getting a table or seat and was immediately told out out out' because i did not have a booking, and the door was slammed...shut behind me. Whilst i appreciate that we must all abide by the rules (which the pub was certainly not doing, because people were congregating in masses inside, but whatever I was just looking for a table by myself to have a quiet drink), being unpleasant to potential customers is not a good sign.
One of the best pubs in Ireland. Cozy atmosphere and great pints. Never a let down from Kieran. If your in between the two spots in Kinnitty this is definetly the more comfortable option
