The beer is good, but the pizza that is the only one on the menu is shameful. the money is taken to order what I suspect because they know that people would not pay if they tasted the pizza.
Was just in the kinnship at the weekend of the minute when we arrived in gilding, we had an absolute ball the staff was so polite, efficient especially so helpful could not praise the girls we met enough! the bbq was divine best bbq I think I had each plate was empty after! eleanor was brillo she seemed to be there all day and night to look at us, we had great craic and danced all night music was good and lively we are already planning our next trip back!

Gilltraps is ideally located in the foothills of the Slieve Bloom Mountains. A brilliant location for your Sunday dinner and a good night out. A family run business that constantly innovates and ad's to the pub. Beautiful outdoor seating/smoking area added 2021. 100% recommend
