This small town breakfast/all-day diner is a reliable choice. The service is decent, but it can get busy due to the limited staff.

A Saturday in the area is always busy. Being in the restaurant industry as server for many years, I know this and am empathetic. There were lots of complaints about the wait time for service and orders and so on, which is true they were very under staffed, to say it simply those 2 older gals oyldnt hack it.... But that was not my issue, my issue was with how rude the attitude of person behind counter. Just the attitude and eye rolling of staff insured I will not be returning even though it wasn't all directed towards myself. Customers can be a pain, but complain later, its your job, be respectful. Too bad because the food itself wasnt bad. But bad service means more

Well I went in today with my dad and my two sons as we drove threw town. it was a bit busy but i think under staffed!!! seeing as its a long weekend I would have expected more staff!!! we walked in and the women behind the counter told us we could sit where we wanted! we found a table big enough for us in the back room that only had one other family seated!! the room stunk so bad of must and the other family kept cracking jokes about the slowness, I new it was busy and the lady had mentioned food would be a half hour wait, I was okay with this, a waitress came into the back to serve the other family and seen us there, still nothing, a half hour went by and we still didnt get asked what we would like to drink!! I went to the front and spoke to the women behind the counter and I said i know things are busy but could we at least get a drink and order our food? she sent the waitress to our table , when she arrived she had menues in her hand only to notice we had already got our own, so she set them on the table and went to get her pad of paper. while takinhg orders my sons were asking what type of drinks they had, she continued to make rushing symbols with her hands as if they were taking to long!! ARE YOU SERIOUSLY LADY???? she told my kids to tell her what they wanted and she would tell them if they had it!!! WOWZERS!!!!!! i said nothing as i dont like to bight the hand thats dealing with my food lol. we ordered and i asked for water never got!!! our coffees were brought in paper cups cause they ran out of coffee mugs , 2 coffees 4 small creamers lol i had to go ask for more!!!! when i asked she handed me a single creamer that was sitting beside the cash... uhmm no thanks ill take fresh ones and more then one!! anyways our food came it was great i do have to say koodios to the chef . the menu was amazing aswell. HOWEVER the hungry mans breakfast said it came with ham, my dad got fried Bologna lol he also asked for hp sauce which didnt come to the table either!! we went to pay and the waitress mentioned she was just looking at the hp sauce and thought uh oh lol. I get things get busy but no joke we sat in this place for 2 hours for 3 hungry man breakfasts and a Greek omelet , oh and not to mention i washed my own silverware thankfully we had lots to talk about and it was my dad paying and wanting to stay because i would have walked the hell out the first 20 mins of not being served had it been my tab and choice!!! no apologies given and no discounts offered to our bill. NOT impressed at all , it sucks cause the menu and food is great but the service is so bad i will never ever return!!!! rude waitress slow services . the only pleasant one was the lady who worked behind the counter and cleaned the waitresses tables off for her after they sat dirty for over and hour lol .

Stopped here for lunch, were pleasantly surprised. Owner operated family restaurant, soup was home made, excellent. Homemade butter tarts also. All food was very good. Owners were very pleasant. Will definitely return here.

The food was alright. Nothing amazing but ok for small town eatery. Service was slow and it wasn't that busy. Server must have been having a bad day as she was not at all friendly. Generally it is going down hill over the years.
