We stopped in Kinmount for a break, and asked a local where the best place for hamburgers. He referred us to the Kinvale Restaurant, which offers Canadian and Chinese cuisine and that was a good recommendation - the Banquet Burger had a juicy, nice-sized beef patty with all the condiment and served up on a lightly toasted bun - very tasty! Basically the service is kind of bad they barely speak English but they serve a decent breakfast. Don't expect much a lot of the locals make fun of the place for being kind of terrible but okay. Its a local joke but yet we all keep going back prices are cheap and food is alright if you do basics. View all feedback.
Great place to eat many specials with excellent food. The place is spotless, the staff is friendly and the service is superb Taco Tuesday is a favorite.
Wife and I had burgers. Both were awesome. Very friendly staff. Tv in dining room with sports on and low volume music from the bar

On the snowmobile trail,accessable and warm!! A great placeto warm the body up before heading outon the trails.
We went here after going to the theatre but should not have bothered. My son ordered the fish and chips. The fish was a perfect square less than a quarter of an inch thick. A restaurant in the Kawarthas selling a frozen square of fish is pathetic. The chips were ok but the coleslaw was terrible. My daughter had chicken noodle soup which came out of a can. My wife and I had the Chinese dinner for two which was the worst Chinese I have EVER had. But this wasn't even the worst part. My kids both had milkshakes. At least they were freshly made but the tip of the milk bag that you are supposed to throw out was in my daughters drink. She almost swallowed it. When I told the waitress she just laughed. Really??? And fully charged me for the meal, at least I didn't have to pay extra for the plastic in her drink.
