I LOVE LA DOLCE VITA!!! We come here with my partner every time we are craving good pasta. My favourite dish is the penne amatriciana and fusili burina. The pizza is really good as well. It is BYO too, and the corkage is only $8 per bottle! ❤️The staff are lovely and they always have a table available for us. We have taken our family and friends there because we absolutely love it and they have also become fans! ❤️ View all feedback.

Visited for a family evening meal. The food was good but the service was only average. had to ask twice for our Italian pizza bread to be brought and when the main meals came five were served together and the 6th we had to ask for 3 times. When paying mentioned these aspects and our disappointment with the service and were told by the cashier "well we were busy" no apologies at all. Will think twice before going ther... The food is delicious and the atmosphere is great. It's bustling but not too loud. I wish there was a restaurant like this in my area. The menu offers a variety of options that are quick, satisfying, and affordable. Overall, it's a reliable option for a good meal.
Delicious food, friendly service, and great value for money! My group booked last minute and were well taken care of. The homemade ravioli aurora was absolutely perfect. Will definitely be back next time I'm in town.
The service was slow, but the food was excellent. This restaurant is perfect for families and has a lively atmosphere. While it may be noisy, I would still recommend it to anyone in search of delicious home-cooked meals.
The menu is quite extensive with so many Italian dishes on the menu – pastas from $18.90-$26.90), pizzas from $19.90-$22.90), and items from the grill and other proteins from $24.90-$30.90) as well as dessert from $12.50-$13.50). Prices are not cheap but I guess the Kingston ‘tax’ has to be considered. I ordered the risotto pescatora $26.90) which came with king prawns, squid, fish and mussels. I was happy with the portion size and the way the risotto had been cooked. Not too soft or gluggy!
Dinned in on a slow Wednesday night. Was seated quickly and given menus. Unfortunately after that, it took about 30 minutes until we were approached again. We had pizza for entree, unfortunately it wasn't enjoyable. Dough was tasteless, flat and hard. Not enough yeast or heat to let the dough rise. Pizza sauce was very acidic. Ingredients were fresh though and chicken well marinated. For main I had home made spinach and ricotta ravioli in a cream sauce cooked with mushrooms, bacon, pasley. Ravioli was BEAUTIFUL! Ricotta was creamy and very well seasoned. The sauce I wasn't a big fan of- too rich and very salty. My friend had the chicken parmigiana. A very nice meal, glad it was a traditional parmigiana with eggplant and napolatana sauce. Good size meals for the price paid.
