Was Anonym at Hendriks Cafe a mag?
$48 coffee and two lunch. The coffee is great, they use Omar and the bird artisan coffee (yum). The middle eastern pulled lamb was sensational. The chicken po boy was tasty but the bread was too tough(really hard to chew). The staff were great, I like the table decorations of an olive branch with little olives. Light bright and not too noisy.

What Anonym dislikes about Hendriks Cafe:
The food here was quite nice but overpriced. I had the smashed avocado which had so much avocado piled onto one slice of toast it was impossible to eat it all. Smaller serves and a cheaper price would be much better. The waitress or manageress was extremely annoying flitting around the table constantly. The actual cafe itself is very nice, in a renovated old warehouse I think. Weekends are really really busy at this... View all feedback.

This place is very popular for a reason; it is in a nice location and the cafe space and ambiance are really lovely. The service is super friendly and prompt. I liked the menu because it was a bit different to usual, for sweet breakfast fans they had some excellent choices. The coffee is really yum too but my one criticism is that mine was barely warm; I don't like a super hot coffee but I do like it hot. We ordered an apple pie waffle special and the H's Hash (which was more like smashed potoato but still delicious) - I would recommend both. It is also great if you like to take your kids for breakfast. They have a children's menu which is actually a play sheet with colouring-in and games and they provide crayons. Things to note: it is VERY busy/noisy. Try to go early if you don't want to wait or want a decent table. I would recommend though for a good Melbourne brunch experience.

The atmosphere is always buzzing. I met a friend here for brunch, the food and coffee were delicious but at times it was hard to hear our conversation even though we were sitting close.

I recently visited Hendriks Cafe for the first time, as recommended by family members. The service was excellent, the coffee was delicious, and the food (especially the eggs benedict) was amazing. I will definitely be returning when I am in the area again.

As we were driving past, we decided to stop at this restaurant. What a pleasant surprise! The atmosphere is stunning and well-maintained, the service is quick, and the staff is incredibly friendly. We ordered some delicious coffee and muffins that were absolutely delightful.
