Undoubtedly the best cheesecake in the area. The charming countryside atmosphere is perfect for sitting outside and savoring a delicious cup of Mahalia coffee and homemade Muntrie cheesecake. Don't forget to bring an empty wine bottle to have it filled with local olive oil. View all feedback.

I really enjoyed the unique use of muntrie berries in cakes, jams, ice cream, cheese cakes, and special spreads at this restaurant. The addition of a nice cup of tea was a great touch as well. It's a refreshing change of pace to try something new while visiting Kingston.
A very interesting local produce with muntrie goods Muntrie being a very very small apple type fruit
Some may believe that Hawkeye (from M*A*S*H) originated from Sandy Grove, but it is also a nickname for this charming town. We visited a few times while in the area visiting family and found the service to be friendly, helpful, and relaxed. The atmosphere was peaceful and the scones were delicious, especially the Muntrie (Crab Apple) scones. If you find yourself in the area, be sure to stop by for a coffee and enjoy the tranquility of Sandy Grove. If you look up serenity in the dictionary, it should mention this lovely town.
Great chance finding. I am not sure that we would get there. We weren't looking for eatery, but what an interesting find. We tried local produce and learned a lot about muntries and how they are farmed. We also found about some other indigenous edible plants. The lady owner was incredibly friendly and informative. We are very happy that we found this place
