Was recommended by another local business. We were disappointed. Snitzel was golden crunchy on outside watery and cold on inside. Salad bar was a bit unexciting. Staff were great and so was service. View all feedback.

Recently, I revisited this hotel- and I had lunch and dinner here over the busy Easter weekend. On both occasions, I had a tasty meal, well prepared and tasty. For dinner, I had some fresh local Coorong Mullet- which was well prepared and cooked. Pricing is very reasonable, and the value is enhanced by the "all you can eat" salad bar, with a variety of freshly prepared salads. And, they offer a glass of house wine for $4.The menu includes popular pub fare, such as schnitzels, fish, steaks and pizzas,as well as some compelling daily specials, such as the Sunday roast lunch. The staff are welcoming and friendly. This is a good place for the weary traveler seeking sustenance or for a lunch or dinner with family or friends.
A rather busy country pub with good quality pub food.a nice touch the salad bar. When in Kingston the food choice is limited tho .
Honestly, this was one of the most memorable Hotels we stayed in during our 4 weeks trip across Australia. Forget about the 4-star Suites - this simple yet amazing Hotel will stay in my mind...Sure, it is a very simple Hotel and its age is visible all around - but it is in such a way that is is more charming than off-putting. It's kept very simple and yet - there is everything you could ask for. And all that for 35 AUD (or 45, depending on the room) a night - that's a bargain right there, if you ask me.The room was small, the bed filled most of the space, there were two small bed side tables and a TV on the wall. And a vent hanging from the ceiling. The bed was surprisingly comfy and the room really clean and tidy. The showers are cool as well, very simple yet functional. There even is place to put your stuff and keep an eye on it.The restaurant was amazing. The supper was delicious and enormous. It was such a big serving, I barely managed to finish most of it. It was stuffed chicken breast on Risotto - and some of the best Risotto of my life. The breakfast is cool as well, mostly self service and with a decent choice of bread and cereals. The staff were nice and welcoming, we even got to meet and talk to the owners. There are parking lots right in front of the building, really convinient. The village itself is worth a walk as well, especially the coast line.To sum it up, it was so special and awesome all at the same time that I would not hesitate one second to stay there again.
We called in here for lunch, oh boy where we surprised, our lunch was so filling and delicious. All four of us throughly loved our lunch the waitress was so friendly and helpful. Gluten free no problem at all.
