Rough Draft Books - Kingston

If I lived nearby, I would be at least a few times a week. Very chilly, but also a good place to go if you're alone and don't mind having a beer and a good conversation with strangers. fun barkeeps and regular too. It was great. Also they do not skip the book selection. I left several books every visit. Independent bookstores are a must for me. Add in good beer and keep open in the evening? My idea of heaven. Plan to make a trip back just to go more here.

A favorite king! Coffee, beer and books... what do you need more?! They offer great events (such as a book signing and cookie session demo with a local cookie decoration legend, Amber Spiegel). Go there early because seats fill up!

Very unique place with a small but beautiful assortment of books, coffee drinks and design beer. The staff was very friendly. It was a little crowded and hard to find a place, but this is great for them that they have many customers!

They make great hot chocolate, the atmosphere is rustic modern and there are books everywhere in the square

Love this place for a hot drink among the books in winter or a refreshing drink on the patio in summer! The hot chocolate was excellent: a deep chocolate taste without being too heavy and not too sweet. They also offer a good selection of original drinks and wide variety of local beers.The vibe is everything. People young and old enjoying a pastry while browsing through a book, working away on their laptops, enjoying a drink at the bar, reading books to their kids... The diversity is refreshing!
