On Friday the 6th of July we ended up ordering from Pizza Factory after having a terrible time trying to order from Westside. Unfortunately that meant that we were ordering carry out right before closing. What Brendan R doesn't like about Pizza Factory:
If I could give no stars I would. My son and his friend just finished school and I thought it would be nice to take them to lunch. We went to pizza factory for there buffet. They had 3 slices of pizza out when we got there. Only one pizza pizza was put out while we were there so each of us only got ONE piece of pizza! Really one piece! The three people behind the counter had no sense of urgency about getting food out... View all feedback.
Whether in California or in Washington, the Pizza Factory never disappoints!! I love this restaurant as it reminds me of home. Connie and Sam were awesome!! Super nice people and amazing service. My husband and I will definitely be coming back, and we plan to leave with full bellies every time!
On Friday the 6th of July we ended up ordering from Pizza Factory after having a terrible time trying to order from Westside. Unfortunately that meant that we were ordering carry out right before closing. One employee in particular, possibly a manager as he was a little bit older than the teens/young adults also working, was absolutely wonderful! He noticed a mistake on our pizza before it even came out of the oven and quickly made a new one. He was very friendly and our pizzas ended up being perfect. After the crappy customer service we'd experienced elsewhere earlier I wanted to reward his efforts with a positive review! They will continue to have our business.
If you plan on having a birthday party at Pizza Factory in Kingston... DONT. I scheduled My sons 9th Birthday party a month ago. Called, spoke with someone over the phone, who told me he was the manager. I asked all the questions. We scheduled the party for 2pm today. Asked about pizzas, guest numbers, etc. Anything and everything, I asked. I told them I would call back once I got a actually guest count but I would expect up to 30 guests. Fast forward to yesterday. I got all RSVP in, and called to ask a couple last minute questions. I ordered the pizzas, explained we would have 35 guests, asked about storage for an ice cream cake, and if we needed plates. All was fine. They confirmed everything. I get there at 1:30pm to put table cloths and some minor decorations up. As I walk in I'm surprised to see a party seated where we are supposed to be having my sons party. As I'm looking I see they are just getting served pizza. I went up to the counter, and explain that I am here for the 2 pm party, and was told I could come in at 1:30 because there was not a party booked before or after us. (This all explained when I made the booking). The gentleman looked confused, and said well we have this party and so we were going to put you over here. As he points to 4 tables with 4 chairs in a small corner on the opposite side of the restaurant. As I'm in shock, I ask I have 35 people coming for a birthday party, your kidding me right. He said well when did you book this because as of a couple days ago there was no party. Ummmm. I booked a month ago. I asked to speak to the manager, and he says well I basically am the manager. So I walked out side and made a few calls. Like what am I suppose to do now 30 min before the party. I can't cancel, or move it to another location. I go back in, another gentleman comes over. He explains its completely their fault and that they are going to try and work with us. The other party won't be leaving until 2:30 at the earliest, and that's if they go over and rush them. He says well we know them, so we can let them know. That kind of irritates me, like oh so you know them and gave them my party space that I booked a month ago. Awesome. So now with 5 minutes to spare we push tables together and throw up decorations. Just in time for people to start showing up. We did make it work. However, the space they provided us compare to the space I had booked was crammed and small. The arcade area was packed from 2 parties being there, which made it not really enjoyable for a lot of my sons friends. Lastly, since we decided to stay and make it work, they did absolutely NOTHING to accommodate any further. They charged full price for all the pizzas we ordered. I will know better next time to stick to booking our birthdays at Round Table. We chose Pizza Factory because My son goes to school in Kingston, making it more convenient for his school friends. We took a chance, but after how we were treated and just the bummer of the birthday party. Nope. We won't be back. They have lost my business completely and I refuse to recommend them to anyone.
This is my family 's go-to Kingston pizza place... No one around comes close. We love the buccaneer, and a pepperoni breakfast bacon pizza is also a household fav. They are popular and busy in the evenings and on weekends. So I advise planning ahead... Call in if you 'd like to dine in, or call in advance for delivery. Yes, they are that good so of course they will be busy. We found that planning ahead always works best for our orders.
Worst place ever. Called the place over an hour ago, hostess yelled to the back asking how long the back of the house *still capable of hearing them through the phone yelled back, 45 minutes .. Waited... Very very long. And hour an a half times... Called back and a different voice, of a very abrupt manager answered the phone and told us it was over an hour and a half wait.. No apology, no nothing. VERY happy to cancel our order with no apology.... No teamwork here. On to the next one....
