Mi Sueno Catering/ La Bodega - Kingston

INCREDIBLE food. My family lives in Kingston and tried their Taco platter and a couple burritos for Football Sunday (Go Chiefs! and they were amazing. Heard many good things before trying and it lived up to the hype. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Only open on weekends so plan accordingly and allow for time to prepare.

Used Mi Sueno for our Thanksgiving dinner. Wow! we got the deep fried turkey. Best Thanksgiving dinner my family has ever had. Excited to see what they put out for Christmas! Highly recommend!

Stopped by for a quick bite to eat in 2022 while waiting for a ferry. Since last seeing the place a number of years ago they have changed their location and appear to have changed how their food is prepared. this time around I had the carnitas burrito and the food was very good and the staff was friendly. Clearly a family business with a family atmosphere.

Despite arriving for our ferry over an hour early, we missed the next one so we had two extra hours to blow and decided to try this spot for lunch since Los Tres Compadres (our traditional taco spot) was closed. What a disappointment. The tacos were on the smaller side and the meats tasted like they'd been sitting for a bit and honestly didn't lead me to believe they would've been that good fresh. The chicken tacos tasted like they were seasoned with chicken-favored ramen seasoning and were *dripping* a yellow fluid everywhere. The pork ones were not any better. Luckily the hot salsa they had was good so dousing the tacos in it made them edible. They also seemed on the small side so leaving after eating three apiece, my wife and I both left hungry. Reading the other reviews I honestly don't get it. Was this an off day? Have these other people ever had a taco before? Maybe having lived in California, Arizona, and Texas have given me too high of expectations for tacos elsewhere but even in a town as small as Kingston we have managed to find *significantly* better tacos elsewhere so I'd recommend trying Los Tres Compadres or maybe just choosing another type of food when stuck in the ferry line.

Yum!! Just about sums my lunch up! I'm always looking for fresh and healthier on the go food options and Mi Sueno has it all. Good customer service and plenty of freshly made menu options to choose from. A If you like soup, then you gotta try the soup of the day! I had gotten it previously and it was delicious I had also seen they do cooking lessons. Sounds like fun time for girls night in! I'm sold!
