This restaurant is a wonderful spot to grab a sandwich for a long day of hiking. The Tempeh Club was incredibly tasty and the breakfast Burrito looked fantastic as well.

I have known about Bread Alone's fresh organic bread for many years, as it is available in various stores and farmer's markets in the Catskills and NYC area. The majority of their breads are vegan. Recently, I came across their cafes (there are four in total, with this review focusing on their 'kingston' location, though it is technically in Lake Katrine) and tried some of their delicious vegan sandwiches. The menu features six sandwiches, with three of them being vegan, and one that is vegetarian. I highly recommend the train Mi (but beware of the Jalapeno pepper if you can't handle the heat) and the Chickpea-Patty (which tastes like hummus). The sandwiches are generously filled with a variety of vegetables. Don't skip out on the vegan chocolate pound cake for dessert - it is incredibly rich and delicious! For breakfast options, they have avocado toast and oatmeal available.

The most drably industrial of their locations because it's their HQ, but super tasty bread had a killer grilled cheese with a quart of pickled fennel and grabbed a loaf of the buckwheat bread to go (which was insanely good, wish I could find it inBrooklyn). Hoping try one of the other cafes the next time I'm in the Catskills!

I ordered a bacon, egg and cheese on a bagel and they put 1 piece of bacon on the bagel. That's embarrassing, I paid $10 for 1 slice of bacon I will never go to this place again.
