Snack Shack - Kingston

The burgers are to die for and the portions are huge. Staff was super friendly with a fun atmosphere. This place is a must try!

I've been to the Snack Shack a few times because it's convenient for a lunch time stop when I haven't packed a lunch but it by no means is worth going out of your way for. There is no seating besides some picnic tables outside so keep that in mind when choosing your lunch time stop. The food is acceptable. It's not great but it's not terrible either. The wraps are rather bland. I've tried several and they are all bland. They have an Amigo wrap that comes in mild or hot. The mild tastes like plain ground beef (yuk) and the hot will burn your lips off; there's no middle. I've had both and I'm serious when I say, burn your lips off. My lips hurt for hours. Hot is not a flavour and flavour is what this place is missing; flavour and real food. They use frozen fries and frozen hamburger patties. I'm not ok with frozen hamburger patties so I don't order burgers there. The poutine isn't to bad but it's frozen fries so if you're ok with that you will enjoy the poutine. On a good note, the Shack is always very clean and the service is friendly.

The snack shack doesn't have the ambience of a big restaurant chain but serves great fast food at a fair price. Some of the best hand made burgers in town. Shirt wait with the quality product.

Gave the Snack Shack a try the other day and was totally disappointed!The burger was tasteless and extremely greasy; so greasy that the napkin it was sitting on was soaked in fat. Had two bites and the rest went in the garbage.....what a waste!Location and service was good, but forget about the burgers, if you want to enjoy a "healthy" snack.

Hidden gem at the car wash! Burgers and poutine are fantastic and the staff is super friendly. Surf vibe decor is fun too:) easy place to stop with lots of parking, don't miss out! Ps I believe the burg was featured in a local magazine a while back, well deserved!!
