I've been a few times. Once in the winter for tea and a cookie to work quietly. It was fantastic. I've gotten treats for here that are to die for. I was really excited to go back, but had a very lack lustre experience. The server did not disclose that my beer in a bottle was 660ml, which is a good amount for one person, and in general, was not very helpful and came off as standoffish. They also did not offer to help by providing a tray, so I was stuck carrying three things awkwardly. The treats are good, but the staff at the cash needs to be either better informed of their inventory and better trained in customer service. Will likely go back because it has been good before, but hopefully there will be some additional training between now and then.
This place is one of my favourite spots in the town. I can have my coffee, lunch or drink and also enjoy the beautiful view of the lake. It's the only place in town by the waterfront. Cheese platter is really good also cappuccino and tea. I heard lunch also is huge and good quality. Just a negative thing is it's open until 6pm
