After spending the night at the hotel we had breakfast at the Café. They had a featured special that my husband chose and enjoyed very much. I chose fresh fruit and yogurt.Our coffee was poured quickly and offer of refills were there most efficiently. The staff were cheerful and knew their stuff. They added to a great start for our day. What User doesn't like about Cafe la Salle:
They have a very good menu for evening meals, but their lunch menu needs some attention! The BLT is piled high with tomato's and bacon left over from breakfast. It's all nailed together with a wooden spike and is so big it is impossible to eat as is. View all feedback.
Love this pub! Great food and serviceI have a gluten intolerance and there is always something I can have.
Such a quaint little pub. I visited The Local Gastropub on a Friday night with a friend and had a marvelous time.
We stayed here for 2 nights, beds were great, each morning we went for breakfast in the restaurant, big portions, we had eggs benny and 2 eggs and sausage with toast and potato wedges and coffee. very good. we were stuffed.
Excellent food, always served hot by a staff providing a great service and all this at very reasonable prices.
There is a large breakfast, lunch and dinner menu. Service is slow, although friendly. The food is fresh, but just ordinary. Breakfasts are typical. For dinner, my husband had spaghetti in a marinara sauce and a small salad (which was actually quite large!) and I had hot corned beef on rye. The food was fine, but if you are looking for something above average , I'd suggest trying one of the many restaurants downtown.
